Under this priority sector projects will be selected under restricted call for proposals without time frame.

The total allocation under this thematic area is CHF 47 million.

Under this thematic area the binding values of projects are:

• minimum value of the programme - CHF 1 000 000
• maximum value of the programme - none

An individual project approach shall be applied in the given focus area. An individual project is an economically indivisible series of works fulfilling a precise technical function and with clearly identifiable objectives, and addressed at economic, environment or social needs within a given focus area.

Project implementation scheme
Owing to a specificity of projects related to the national security in the given focus area, the project shall be identified by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration. The above mentioned projects shall undergo the formal and content- related appraisal carried out by Intermediate Bodies, National Co-ordination Unit and donor side. Final decision on the grant award is taken by the donor side institutions.

Types of eligible projects:
It is allowed to join measures within a given type of projects.

Strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of border check points by measures concerning:

• providing services with dedicated equipment
• modernization of border check points on Polish – Ukrainian border
• emergency response
