Ecorys in partnership with the Association of RP Communes Euroregion Baltic announces the second call for ‘large’ proposals to the Fund for Non-Governmental Organisations established under the Block Grant of the Swiss-Polish Co-operation Programme.

The grant amounts from 10 000 CHF to 250 000 CHF per project.

The main aim of the Non-Governmental Organisations Fund is to support the role of civic society in Poland and to promote its role as an important participant in the process of decreasing the socio economic disparities. Support is provided for non-governmental organisations’ activities directed at increasing the active participation of citizens in the public life. Allocation of resources for Priority 1 under the Block Grant amounts to 16,7 million CHF.

Allocation for the second call for proposals amounts to 3 666 667 CHF.

Foundations, associations or unions of associations and legal persons established on the basis of act regulations, not acting in order to raise profit, or assigning profit for statutory purposes are invited to participate in the competition. Call for proposals opens on 29th December 2011 and closes on 29th February 2012.
